San Diego, CA (December 28, 2024) – A San Diego Police Department officer was hospitalized with injuries following a collision between two San Diego Police Department patrol cars in Clairemont on Friday.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:05 p.m. in the 4300 block of Clairemont Drive, according to SDPD Officer Anthony Carrasco. At least two police officers in separate cars were rolling with their lights and sirens when they crashed into each other,’ Carrasco said. However, no further details were released in the meantime, and it’s unclear how many were ultimately injured in the crash. Witnesses were asked to step forward as soon as possible.
