San Diego, CA (October 12, 2023) – After an accident on Thursday in the Allied Gardens area, two people were taken to a local hospital.
Around 2:00 a.m. on Princess View Drive, a gray 2015 Toyota Corolla driven by a 38-year-old man was stopped.
The police claim he hit a parked tractor-trailer from behind. After the accident, both he and his passenger were sent to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver suffered a cut to the head, while the passenger broke both his arm and pelvis.
The San Diego Police Department has concluded that alcohol had a role in this crash, though there has been no further information on whether or not the motorist was taken into custody.
The San Diego Police Department sent its Traffic Division to the scene, but an investigation remains ongoing.
