Los Angeles, CA (October 13, 2023) – Several vehicles, including a patrol car from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, collided on State Route 178 west of Kelso Valley Road, resulting in the deaths of two persons.
According to the press release, a third individual was seriously injured and sent to Kern Medical Hospital.
One of the fatalities was said to be from Inyokern, while the seriously injured party was said to be from Ridgecrest.
The deputy who was operating the police car walked away uninjured.
The cause of this accident is yet unknown.
