Los Angeles, CA (September 8, 2024) – A man and a woman were killed on Sunday morning, September 8, when their vehicle collided with a cargo van in Huntington Beach, authorities confirmed. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the collision took place at about 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Bolsa Avenue and Graham Street.
Investigations revealed that a gray Freightliner cargo van was traveling eastbound on Bolsa when it entered the intersection with Graham. At that point, it collided with a tan Toyota Sienna that was going southbound in the intersection on Graham. According to authorities, the Sienna’s driver was identified as a 61-year-old Garden Grove man. He and his adult female passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. Officers have also not disclosed what may have led to the crash, but an investigation is still ongoing in the interim. Witnesses were asked to come forward right away.
