Los Angeles, CA (October 15, 2023) – On October 13, Friday morning, Los Angeles firefighters and police officers were sent to the scene of an accident reported between 7th and Mateo Avenue.
When LAFD and LAPD authorities arrived around 3:00 a.m., units discovered a Ford Mustang that had slammed into a brick structure after an initial crash occurred near the intersection.
After medical staff checked on the driver, he refused transfer to a hospital, though EMTs also assessed at least one other person at the site. It’s unclear if they were taken to the hospital.
Alcohol may have played a role in this collision, though the LAPD is still handling the ongoing investigation.
