Jurupa Valley, CA (March 18, 2026) – Two drivers were hurt Tuesday afternoon, March 17, after a fiery crash at a busy intersection in Jurupa Valley.
Emergency units responded around 1:30 p.m. to the intersection of Etiwanda Avenue and Jurupa Road after reports of a multi-vehicle accident. When crews arrived, they found that two cars had collided in the roadway.
The impact caused a fire inside the engine compartment of one vehicle. Firefighters quickly worked to control the flames and prevent the fire from spreading.
Crews also removed one of the drivers from a damaged vehicle so paramedics could provide medical care. Both drivers suffered injuries and required hospital treatment.
Responders transported the victims to Riverside Community Hospital. Officials said one person suffered moderate injuries while the other sustained minor injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
