Vista, CA (October 27, 2023) – The San Diego Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that at least one person was killed in a two-alarm fire that broke out in Vista on Friday night.
According to Vista Fire Department officials, a two-alarm fire broke out at an apartment complex at 117 West Palmyra Drive at about 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
The blaze began on the ground level and quickly moved to the first and second floors, destroying everything in its path. Six to ten individuals had to be relocated, but the fire has since been extinguished, according to the Vista Fire Department.
The SDSD is in charge of the investigation.
