Los Angeles, CA (October 27, 2023) – On Tuesday, a pedestrian was killed in East Los Angeles, and police are still looking for the driver who fled the scene.
At 7:10 p.m. on South Downey Road, a silver Honda Pilot hit a male pedestrian and then drove off, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
The victim, who has yet to be named, was pronounced dead at the site.
The suspect motorist was last seen heading south on Downey Road, perhaps in the direction of Telegraph Road. The front end of the Honda Pilot will likely be severely damaged, according to the investigation.
