Sun Valley, CA (June 8, 2025) — A devastating two-vehicle collision in Sun Valley claimed the lives of two men and left two others with minor injuries on Saturday afternoon, June 7.
The crash occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of North Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Strathern Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Emergency crews arrived to find two men in their 20s trapped inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the victims.
One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital, according to LAPD officials. Neither has been publicly identified at this time.
Two additional individuals, including a 45-year-old man, sustained minor injuries. Both declined to be taken to the hospital.
