San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision, Injuries at Friars & Mission Center Rds

San Diego, CA (October 10, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash on Friars Road in Mission Valley Tuesday night led to an emergency response to rescue one of the drivers.

According to San Diego Police, the collision involving a pickup truck and a small white car happened on westbound Friars Road near Mission Center Road just before 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After being pulled from the wreckage by emergency crews, one driver was taken to the hospital with what was described as neck pain.

The other driver was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. However, no further details were reported, and the Traffic Division of the San Diego Police Department is still investigating the incident.
