San Diego, CA (March 13, 2025) – One person was killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 8 in the College Area, police said on Thursday evening.
The California Highway Patrol said the multi-vehicle wreck happened just after 11:00 p.m. on eastbound I-8 near College Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, one car was engulfed in flames as firefighters worked to put it out. However, no further details were released, and an investigation remains ongoing.
