La Habra, CA (April 10, 2024) – A pedestrian collision that happened on Wednesday afternoon in La Habra, close to Sonora High School, resulted in injuries to seven students.
Crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department said the collision occurred around 1:40 p.m. on North Palm Street and La Habra Boulevard. According to reports, two vehicles crashed at the crosswalk while the students were waiting for the signal, which caused one of the cars to jump the curb and hit the students. All eight victims of the collision, including a driver who was hurt, were sent to neighboring hospitals for medical attention. Per officers, the crash may have been caused by one of the cars running a red light, but an investigation is ongoing.
