San Diego, CA (January 25, 2025) – According to the San Diego Medical Examiner, a man who was struck by a northbound Ford sedan while crossing in the 1300 block of South Mission Road earlier this week has been identified.
Cipriano Pedro Gonzalez, 24, died in the hospital three days after a pedestrian accident in Fallbrook on South Mission Road. Paramedics responded and transported the injured man by ambulance to the Palomar Medical Center’s emergency department.
Despite life-saving efforts, however, the Fallbrook man died from multiple injuries a few days later. The incident is still being investigated, and it’s not known at this time whether drugs or alcohol were involved. However, witnesses were asked to step forward as soon as possible. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family of the deceased individual.
