Los Angeles, CA (November 21, 2023) – The 10300 block of West Glenbarr Avenue was the site of a deadly accident, as officials discovered a tree trimmer who was electrocuted and killed.
The man, who was approximately 30 years old, was found dead after authorities fielded an emergency call at around 1:30 p.m. According to Margaret Stewart, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, they found the man around 20 to 25 feet up in a tree. The man, who seemed to be unconscious, was found in the top part of the tree, and Stewart says there’s evidence to think electrocution was the cause of his death. The presence of live power wires hindered efforts to assist the victim. An inquiry into the cause of the accident is ongoing, per authorities.
