A 20-year-old man driving a Honda Civic south on I-5 north of J Street was involved in a “property damage only” collision on Saturday around 10:00 p.m., per a release from the California Highway Patrol. They reported that the driver exited his car and was standing in the traffic lanes when a Ford Escape driven by a 44-year-old man hit him and the Honda, resulting in his death.
