San Diego, CA (March 24, 2025) – Traffic delays were reported in both directions on State Route 78 in Oceanside after a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck forced lane closures on March 24.
The crash was reported just after 7:40 a.m. on the westbound side of the road between Jefferson Street and El Camino Real. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs, one semi-truck was involved in the collision, as well as several smaller vehicles. No specific details about what led up to the crash are available, but EMTs assessed an unknown number of people with injuries at the site.
