Riverside, CA (August 29, 2024) – California Highway Patrol troopers say that a Riverside County sheriff’s deputy and two others were injured after a two-car crash in Mead Valley on Tuesday.
According to the CHP, the crash happened at around 10:00 p.m. near Brown Street and Oakwood Street. CHP officers arrived at the scene and found that the deputy’s Ford Explorer SUV was traveling northbound on Brown when the driver of a Toyota Camry approached eastbound on Oakwood. The cars collided in the intersection, with the Camry hitting the SUV on the passenger side, CHP said. However, an investigation is still ongoing in the interim, and the victims’ current conditions remain unknown in the meantime.
