Los Angeles, CA (November 30, 2024) – Authorities say that a total of seven people were involved in a major rollover crash in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning, November 30, and three of the victims remain in critical condition.
According to preliminary information released by the Los Angeles Fire Department, at least two cars were involved in the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Cesar Chavez Avenue, near the entrance to the Chinatown neighborhood, at around 12:40 a.m.
Three patients were transported from the scene in critical condition, LAFD said, including two who were trapped and required extrication. The conditions of the four remaining individuals were not known to fire officials. It is not known if speed or impairment were factors in the collision, but the Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating and requests that anybody with information on this incident contact them.
