Monterey, CA (March 2, 2025) – California Highway Patrol (CHP) troopers reported that southbound Highway 101 was shut down after a vehicle crash on Saturday evening, March 1.
The crash was reported at around 11:55 p.m., though it is unknown how many vehicles were involved. CHP added that there were injuries reported, though it is also unclear what kind of injuries and how many people were injured. No further details have been released as an investigation continues in the interim; witnesses were asked to contact the CHP, however. We wish those hurt in this wreck a rapid and complete recovery.
