San Diego, CA (July 24, 2024) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday night in a collision on one of Pacific Beach’s main roads, San Diego police said.
The crash was reported just after 6:30 p.m. According to SDPD, the motorcyclist, identified as a 22-year-old man, was riding his 2007 Suzuki bike eastbound on Grand Avenue when he was involved in a crash with a vehicle turning southbound at the Kendall Street intersection. The motorcyclist sustained a fracture to the left tibia and fibula, SDPD said. The injuries are not considered life-threatening at this time. The driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old man, was uninjured. SDPD’s Traffic Division responded to the scene and is investigating the crash.
