Los Angeles, CA (April 13, 2024) – On Thursday, a police pursuit resulted in a collision, fire, and the suspect’s arrest by officers stationed at the location in Valley Glen. During the early afternoon, as Los Angeles police pursued a BMW, the suspect vehicle, for an undetermined reason down Laurel Canyon Boulevard near Oxnard Street, the BMW collided with another vehicle and caught fire.
Per officers, a woman in the other vehicle was injured in the collision. Two officers of the Los Angeles Police Department subsequently extracted the male suspect from the BMW. Following the arrival of Los Angeles firefighters, both persons were transported to a nearby hospital. Investigators say charges are pending, but no further details have been released.
