Los Angeles, CA (September 29, 2023) – On Friday night, September 29, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metro Blue Line train.
At around 9:30 p.m. between 92nd Street and Graham, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officers responded to reports of an animal on the tracks.
They arrived to find a person had been hit by a train. EMTs confirmed the individual’s death at the site of the incident.
Officers say that the victim’s identity will be revealed after their next of kin have been notified. The police have asked witnesses to come forward as they continue their investigation in the interim.
