Los Angeles, CA (November 1, 2024) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a Los Angeles man died after a head-on collision with a big rig during a three-vehicle wreck in Adelanto on Thursday, October 31, officials said. The 59-year-old man died at the site of the 1:40 p.m. crash at Highway 395 and Auburn Avenue, per the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and coroner’s officials.
He was driving a Chevrolet Blazer as he merged onto the southbound highway, the sheriff’s department said in a written statement, and was involved in a collision shortly thereafter with a southbound Volkswagen Golf. Both vehicles then crashed into a semi-truck. However, it’s unclear if citations or charges are pending, and details about any other injured victims and vehicles involved were not released.
