Los Angeles, CA (October 11, 2023) – Several people were displaced and sustained injuries after an attic fire at a Los Angeles-area home.
Reports of a structure on fire sent the Los Angeles Fire Department to the 3500 block of 5th Street on Wednesday evening, October 11.
Firefighters arrived to find a bungalow-style home with flames shooting out of the roof. Within twenty minutes, firefighters had battled the blaze and contained the bulk of the flames.
Three people were evaluated by EMTs at the scene, though the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The root cause of the fire is still unidentified, but officials continue to investigate.
