Los Angeles, CA (January 14, 2024) – A hit-and-run accident in Carson left an elderly man, now identified as Gumercindo Gonzalez, hospitalized over the weekend.
A hit-and-run motorist in Carson struck the 72-year-old Gonzalez at Santa Fe Avenue and East Dominguez Street and fled the scene shortly thereafter. Police say the driver was traveling in a dark gray four-door sedan. Gonzalez was seriously hurt as a result of the wreck and rushed to a nearby hospital, where his current condition remains unknown. An investigation is still ongoing in the meantime.
