Los Angeles, CA (September 23, 2023) – A suspect in Bell Gardens led police on a high-speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
After an hour of pursuit at speeds of up to 100 mph, the suspect crashed into another vehicle on the 605 Freeway close to Arrow Highway, causing the California Highway Patrol to temporarily close all lanes.
Northbound 605 Freeway traffic was substantially delayed after the pursuit and accident. At least two victims received medical attention at the site for injuries, the nature of which remains unknown.
Authorities are now looking into the incident and have not provided further information.
