Los Angeles, CA (September 22, 2023) – At around 8:45 p.m. on Friday, police and firefighters in the 7800 block of Lankershim Boulevard in Sun Valley responded to a report of a driver hitting a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene by Los Angeles firefighters upon their arrival.
Initial reports from the area indicated that the motorist had fled the scene without stopping to help the injured party.
Police in Los Angeles are looking into what happened and have not provided further details in the interim.
