Los Angeles, CA (October 13, 2023) – On Friday, an accident between a car and a motorcyclist was reported near Pacific Beach, sending the rider to the hospital.
At 5:05 p.m. on Ingraham Street, a 40-year-old male was reportedly traveling north on the left side of the street on a 2023 Kawasaki R1.
At the same moment, police say, a 23-year-old woman driving a 2020 Nissan Altima emerged from the north alley of 1600 Garnet Avenue into Ingraham Street.
The woman was making a left turn onto southbound Ingraham Street when the two collided.
The motorcyclist suffered a complex fracture of his left wrist, as well as left humorous and abdominal hemorrhage, and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. He remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Officers from the Traffic Division arrived and began investigating, though their inquiry is still ongoing.
