Los Angeles, CA (October 25, 2023) – On Wednesday, police reported the capture of the suspect in the hit-and-run death of a biker in South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles police say they have arrested a 66-year-old man in Compton on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter.
At 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, police were summoned to the corner of South Broadway and West 117th Street in the Broadway-Manchester area of South Los Angeles for the crash. Officials at the scene declared the person deceased, but the LAPD has not disclosed his identity at this time.
An investigation remains active and ongoing.
