Los Angeles, CA (November 17, 2023) – A pedestrian died when she was struck by a driver in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 16th. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were dispatched to the scene in the eastbound lanes of Manchester Boulevard at about 10:35 p.m.
According to local sources, the 63-year-old woman was crossing the Cimarron Street intersection when she was struck. The driver then fled the area, continuing eastbound along Manchester Boulevard without pulling over, notifying police, or rendering aid, instead leaving the woman to die. Her identity will not be released until her next of kin can be reached.
This accident is under investigation by the South Traffic Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
