Los Angeles, CA (December 28, 2023) – A house fire in Boyle Heights early Thursday morning killed one person and left at least two others in serious condition.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said that firefighters arrived at 756 South Boyle Avenue, which is located immediately east of the 5 Freeway, and discovered a house engulfed in flames. According to authorities, two to three individuals were rescued from the engulfed in flames and sent to a nearby hospital in serious condition. One other person was apparently killed before their arrival at a local hospital. Authorities continue to investigate but have not released additional details at this time.
