Los Angeles, CA (April 10, 2025) – Two women were killed and multiple people were injured early Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in South Los Angeles, and officers have since identified one of the victims.
According to authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were called at 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday to Century Boulevard and Normandie Avenue regarding a collision involving a sedan and a white Honda CRV.
Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, and multiple victims were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions, California Highway Patrol Officer Michael Nasir confirmed. The County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner identified one of the victims Wednesday as 45-year-old Maria Caamal. In the meantime, no further details were released, and an investigation remains ongoing.
