Los Angeles, CA (September 24, 2023) – Multiple victims were sent to the hospital early on Sunday after a collision involving at least three vehicles, including a California Highway Patrol unit.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 12:40 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 101 Freeway, close to the Hayvenhurst Avenue exit in Encino.
Per officials, it occurred just after a CHP officer had pulled over two vehicles for a separate incident. No further details have been released in connection with the crash, though an investigation is still ongoing in the interim.
