San Diego, CA (May 15, 2024) – A two-vehicle accident along the I-5 Freeway in Chula Vista on Wednesday resulted in the death of one individual.
According to CHP troopers, when police arrived in the South Bay area in Chula Vista at around 10:30 a.m., they spotted the wreckage of at least two vehicles. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics declared one victim dead at the scene, but no further details on other victim injuries were released. An inquiry is underway to determine what caused the accident.
