Los Angeles, CA (January 10, 2024) – A woman who was hit and killed on the Pacific Coast Highway on Sunday, January 7, has now been identified by local officials. On Wednesday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as 43-year-old Alecia McCullough.
Around 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, officers from the Long Beach Police Department were sent to the area around Pacific Coast Highway and Cherry Avenue. Responding paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department found McCullough after she was hit by an unidentified driver traveling west on the Pacific Coast Highway, west of Cherry. Police have not disclosed any further information on their pursuit of the motorist in question, but an investigation continues.
