Huntington Beach, CA (December 11, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon, December 9, left one man dead and several others injured at the intersection of Goldenwest Street and Heil Avenue. The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. when a gray Tesla Model 3, traveling eastbound at high speed, lost control and slammed into several vehicles. The impact caused the Tesla to roll multiple times before landing upside down.
Huntington Beach police confirmed that seven vehicles were involved in the collision. Firefighters treated multiple victims at the scene and transported three people to nearby hospitals in stable condition.
The 37-year-old driver of the overturned Tesla died at the scene. Video from a nearby business showed two vehicles violently crashing before debris struck other cars. Investigators continue to review what led to the crash.
