Bakersfield, CA (October 24, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol Incident Page, a biker was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in east Bakersfield on Sunday morning, October 22.
Per a report from local troopers, the incident occurred on Sunday morning at around 11:00 a.m. CHP reported a collision near the intersection of Pesante Road and Mesa Drive shortly after witnesses called in the crash.
CHP reports that there were injuries in the collision, though the severity of those injuries is unclear. Officers are continuing to investigate in the meantime.
