Tustin, CA (November 6, 2023) – Two persons were killed in a major collision in Orange County early Monday morning.
Officials with the Orange County Fire Authority said the accident happened just after 3:00 a.m. on Newport Avenue near East First Street in Tustin. The wrecked vehicle was seen via news footage in front of a U.S. Bank branch on Newport and First.
First responders arrived to find the car completely engulfed in flames. After extinguishing the fire, they determined that the car had two passengers.
Authorities said that both victims were declared dead at the site. Their identities remain unknown in the interim.
