San Diego, CA (November 18, 2024) – According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), at least one person died in a crash on Monday afternoon on State Route 52 near the Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego.
The California Highway Patrol traffic incident information page showed the crash happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. in the area of eastbound SR-52 and Regents Road. The center lane was blocked due to the crash, Caltrans posted around 2:55 p.m. Both northbound and southbound lanes of Regents Road were also closed due to the incident. However, no further details were reported, and an inquiry still remains ongoing at this time.
