Manhattan Beach, CA – One Dead, Two Hurt in Hit-and-Run on Sepulveda Blvd

Manhattan Beach, CA (January 8, 2025) – Manhattan Beach Police Department officers are searching for a suspect they believe is responsible for a hit-and-run crash that killed one and injured several others on Tuesday evening, January 7.

Manhattan Beach Police Department officers responded to the crash in the 300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard at approximately 11:25 p.m. The crash occurred between two vehicles and injured multiple people, police confirmed.

Paramedics took three people to a local trauma hospital to receive treatment. Despite life-saving efforts by medical personnel, one victim succumbed to their injuries. A second victim is currently undergoing surgery, and their condition is unknown at this time.

Police identified the driver involved in the crash as a 32-year-old man who fled the scene as the suspect. However, per officials, the investigation continues, and no further details were released.
