Los Angeles, CA (December 15, 2024) – Authorities say that a crash involving nearly a dozen people stalled traffic on the 5 Freeway in Los Angeles overnight.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the rollover crash with a total of ten patients occurred on the northbound span of the 5 Freeway near Paxton Street in Pacoima at 11:50 p.m. Saturday. Four patients were transported to a local hospital, including two in serious condition. LAFD identified the two seriously injured victims as a 27-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man.
It is not known if speed or impairment were factors in the collision, but the Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating and requests that anybody with information on this incident contact them.
