Los Angeles, CA (December 14, 2024) – A driver is reported to be in serious condition after their car crashed and landed in a wash, requiring a rescue from the Los Angeles Fire Department on Saturday, December 14.
According to LAFD, the patient’s car collided with another vehicle just before 5:00 p.m. near 15100 West Parthenia Street in North Hills. Initial calls to the fire department reported that the driver was trapped in the wash and needed an auto-extrication operation.
However, after arriving and assessing the scene, crews say the patient was not trapped but required a litter basket operation to bring them up to the surface safely. No further details have been released. Nonetheless, the investigation proceeds at this time. We hope for the swift recovery of all the injured individuals.
