Westlake, CA (April 6, 2024) – A man was hit and killed at the Westlake/MacArthur Park Metro subway station on Friday night, according to authorities.
The incident was reported at 9:20 p.m. in the 600 block of South Alvarado Street – the location of the Metro Station – where arriving Los Angeles Fire Department personnel found a man was fatally struck by a train. The deceased person was identified as a 32-year-old male, according to the LAPD. The Los Angeles County Coroner has not yet released his name. LAPD’s Central Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
