Los Angeles, CA (May 14, 2025) – A pursuit ended in a massive crash on Tuesday, injuring multiple people.
A Los Angeles police PIO stated that LAPD officers were in pursuit of a wanted suspect. The pursuit lasted only a minute, as the suspect crashed into multiple cars at the intersection of 19th Street and Pacific Avenue. A total of six people were injured in the crash, with responding firefighters declaring the crash a mass casualty incident.
Firefighters ultimately transported two people, a 25-year-old male and a 35-year-old female, to the hospital in unknown condition. Four other people were treated at the scene and refused transport to the hospital. Police shut down the intersection of 19th Street and Pacific Avenue as they continue to investigate.
