Los Angeles, CA (February 20, 2024) – On Tuesday, February 20, shortly after midnight, a vehicle collision resulted in one fatality and two injuries, according to authorities. The collision was reported at Ventura and Balboa Boulevards at 12:15 a.m.
The Los Angeles Police Department stated that officers in a patrol car had observed one of the involved cars, a Toyota Camry, traveling southbound on Balboa Avenue with its headlamps off a short time earlier. Officers rescued two victims, and they were transported to a hospital with their conditions currently unknown. One person died at the scene, however. An investigation remains ongoing, and no further details were released.
