Los Angeles, CA (October 14, 2023) – On Saturday, officials confirmed that a motorcyclist had been killed in a head-on collision with a car at an intersection in East Long Beach.
Lt. J. Hotchkiss of the Long Beach Police Department said that the collision happened at 5:35 p.m. Saturday on Willow Street and Palo Verde Avenue.
Hotchkiss said the man was taken to the hospital by paramedics but later died there.
He said that the cause of the accident had not yet been determined, though an investigation is still ongoing.
