San Diego, CA – Woman Hurt in Hit-and-Run on Homedale St

San Diego, CA (July 28, 2025) – A 59-year-old woman suffered head and leg injuries on Sunday, July 27, in an alleged hit-and-run accident in the Paradise neighborhood, the San Diego Police Department reported.

Just before 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, the woman was walking north at 2700 Homedale Street when the vehicle went up onto the sidewalk and struck her, police said. The vehicle’s driver fled the scene, the department added.

The victim suffered a fractured fibula and a subdural brain hemorrhage, but police said she was expected to survive her injuries. Meanwhile, the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Additional updates may be released once authorities gather more details.
