San Diego, CA (June 19, 2024) – The San Diego Police Department reported that a motorcyclist was sent to the hospital Wednesday morning after a crash involving a vehicle in Barrio Logan.
According to the San Diego Police Department, a 47-year-old man was driving a 2022 Toyota C-HR eastbound in the 2800 block of Main Street shortly before 9:30 a.m. At that same time, police said a 20-year-old man was riding a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on the same roadway. For reasons still under investigation, the driver of the Toyota reportedly made a left turn in front of the Kawasaki.
The motorcycle then collided with the Toyota broadside. The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, though no further details were released. Traffic Division officers responded and are handling the investigation. Alcohol was not deemed to be a factor in this crash, police added. However, anyone with information related to the incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers.
