Los Angeles, CA (July 27, 2024) – A vehicle and motorcycle collision shut down San Vicente Boulevard on Thursday, July 25, near Ashcroft Avenue. A truck hit a motorcycle, sending the motorcyclist flying onto the pavement several feet, per officials.
According to authorities, the man on the motorcycle was taken to a nearby hospital and appeared to be badly injured, possibly in critical condition. The accident occurred at roughly 7:00 p.m. West Hollywood parking enforcement directed traffic away from the crash.
San Vicente Boulevard, south of Melrose Avenue and north of Beverly, was shut down in both directions while deputies investigated the scene, and a tow truck removed the truck and the motorcycle from the street.
