Orange, CA (November 2, 2023) – A man has died after being hit by a car while crossing the street on Wednesday night in Orange.
After receiving reports of a car accident in the 300 block of East Lincoln Avenue, the Orange Police Department and Orange Fire Department headed to the scene.
A Chevy Blazer was heading west on Lincoln when the driver hit a person who was walking north of a crossing, according to preliminary findings. After sustaining life-threatening injuries, the pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was subsequently declared deceased.
The Traffic Unit of the OPD has taken over the inquiry but has not provided further details at this time.
